Wondering where I went to?

...Sometimes, so do I. Heh.

No, for the past year I've seen a dramatic shift in my approach to art and how it plays in my life- I've begun teaching again, for instance- and DeviantArt's focus and movement away from being an art site (Let's face it, it's not really that anymore) have led me to reassess what I want posted on here.

So I've been just trying to get back into the swing of drawing for fun, and that means a lot of the stuff I'm creating is just sketches and line drawings and brain junk, the artwork's more suited for a journal than finished work here.  

So, yeah, I created an art blog ----> jesidres.dreamwidth.org

And that's where I've been for the last month and a half or so.  Again, mostly sketchwork and doodles, but fun.

We'll see how it goes.

I'm still here, just...not as much, so I will get any messages you might leave me.  I just don't know when I'll put stuff up here- particularly since this place really isn't about art so much anymore.


Also, since I last posted, I've had my computer die in a firey pit of screen-death, found out the old scanner doesn't work with Vista, started doing more graphic design work, hunted dinosaurs with bows and arrows, gotten on twitter, and generally been a nuisance to the world at large.
