So, after working yet another Anime Boston, I managed to catch Con Crud. AGAIN. So in my bed ridden state, I ended up doodling some of the crack in my head, brought on by silly friends, the new GK/PW 5 trailer, and my sudden hankering for the return of the dorkiest ship I adore.
So, you all get to suffer through my interpretation of Maya, 7 (8?) years since we last saw her. Master of Kurain, legal guardian of Pearl, and general adorable thorn in the side of one Phoenix Wright.
Background is a complete and utter cheat on my part- I did a paintover a personal photograph. Because I am lazy. Don't follow my example, kids.

Vision Originality Technique ImpactJust right off the bat, memories of watching Samurai7 and Inuyasha are invoked in this drawing. The background and character showcase feudal Japan as well as beauty. Everything thing about this drawing gives the viewer a sense that a new anime series with a feudal Japan setting can be done with the right characters and plot to say the least. The colors in the drawing are well used. Furthermore, this drawing shows a well use of creativity and passion which shows how passionate the artist is about their work. In summary, the colors are good and a nice piece of work
