The Doctor crack has gained a name- May I introduce Whooligans, where little silly nuances on The Doctor get speared, poked at, and crackified.
Really, there's this subconscious fascination with the Doctor's choice of undergarments in most fanfiction. I have never seen such interest in describing what goes on under the suit in any other fandom. As to why this is Jack's fault... in an article SFX, he jokes about David's nickname "Ten-Inch" which just put me on this horrible train of thought about the obsession of ....that region and the Tenth Doctor. Here's why (yes I've over-thought this): Those trousers of his are far too tight to properly fit boxers into and he's not a dork (the embarassing kind) so he doesn't wear tighty-whities. Also, I know for a fact that DT, the man himself, wears boxer-briefs, cuz he discribed his underpants in the infamous Manpants interview and I've seen a few pictures of him where they're showing out of the top of his jeans.
