Things that should not exist.. by JesIdres Things that should not exist.. by JesIdres
Found this in the shop this afternoon on the way to studio.

For those not in the know, Haggis is a traditional Scottish dish of Sheep innards (heart, liver, and lungs) stuffed into a sheep's stomach. Yes, it tastes about as lovely as it sounds.

But....how the bloody hell do you come up with vegetarian haggis?

Who would want to come up with veggie haggis?

And who'd want haggis in a CAN? (Yes, that exists too, but slightly more plausible. No less vile though.)

I was just looking for a double decker bar. (And some beans in tomato sauce, but that was on impulse.)

Vegetarian Haggis? How exactly to make a vegetarian substitute for sheep organs?! I'm actually really curious now. At first I thought it was humus, I'm not vegetarian but I kind of like humus.

I had the exact same reaction when I saw veggie haggis in someone's house.
And that means someone has actually bought it.

But still, veggie haggis just doesn't make sense

Oh dear, that sounds evil... like nonalcoholic Long Island Icetea.

I lost my will to live when I found "Rapesan" (Parmesan marketed by Germans who obviously don't speak English)

I bet it's a strategy to get more people to buy vegetarian products. And for people who want to try haggis, but are disgusted by the idea of eating organs.

Or the company is actually a meat company that wants to convince people that vegetarians eat weird stuff. xD

Vegetarian haggis? Seriously? That's as ridiculous as the meatless bacon they sell here. (But very amusing I must say!)

What's wierder: Veggie Haggis, or the fact that this stuff apparently sells well enough to be worth exporting???

Haggis can be really tasty if done right, but get it from a butcher if you can. Immagine a mix of mince and oats.
