A little comic I drew about today's anniversary of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum theft. It's rather hard to keep it out of you mind like they ask when every news station seems keeps going on about it. And the worst lot of it is that there's so much more for people to enjoy- we have the very first Raphael ever to enter the United States, and El Jaleo, often lauded as John Singer Sargent's best work in the first half of his life. And not to mention the Courtyard- I feel like a right lucky bastard working right next to it- with all the flowers being brought in, It always smells nice.

Yeah, so it's a volunteer job. I'm a full time grad student. DEAL! (and visit)

I live in Boston now, going to college, and my professor took my entire class there for one of my courses, and I've been back six times since. What an AMAZING place. By far my favorite place in Boston. I'm actually writing a screenplay about it right now.....
Hehehe a second heist in fact, and about how the first one happened. Nothing more than a college girl's ideas floating onto paper, but it's fun to write about such a memorable and interesting place. GREAT COMIC too! Wish I had your job!

NO MORE HEISTS PLZ.

Of course of course! Actually, in my storyline (though I haven't actually written that part yet...) the paintings are recovered and one of the thieves from the 1990 heist are caught. Don't worry this is purely fiction, and I'm not showing it to anyone other than my parents and my writing the feature film professor. Nobody's getting any ideas they shouldn't get.

I don't think I've never been, I'll have to stop by sometime. :3 That's a really beautiful courtyard.

A friend and I actually went there today, and I immediately thought of this comic...
Oddly enough, my friend wasn't even phased by the empty frames and nor was I. I must agree that there is plenty else to see, the place is an eye feast.

It was so inspiring to be there!

3. People would come and see the empty frames too because they're a curiosity.

Hey, I would! Of course I live in Finland so not right now...

If I am ever in the area (Which I doubt, but you never know) I'll drop in
