Since I'm reluctant to start reading Harry Potter, I managed to finish my submission for
's contest for our own versions of our favorite discworld book.
I guess the reason I like this book so much is that once the main characters I love so much are taken out of Ankh-Morpork, their characters suddenly become so much more focused and realized. From Sam's development as political and human figure, to Carrot's humanizing and actualizing emotion. And once you go to those levels, you can't go back.
This piece took about 2-3 hours sketching wise, then 15-20 hours coloring with a Wacom tablet and Photoshop 7.
