Bringing back two characters that have not seen the light of day since 2005, The two main characters of Spiritually Yours get a little tweaking and just a little love they really ought to have.

Eliyra Barnes is a spiritualist medium specializing in exorcism in the height of Queen Victoria's reign. Her first job she ever officially takes has her going up a hell hole of a house, and freeing the tortured soul of Mathew Crane, a prominent humanist exorcist from 100 years prior.

Mathew, while freed, is still not interested in the afterlife bliss package he was supposed to go to, has taken upon himself to teach the young lady everything he knows, and generally offer her a hand in dealing with the Otherworldlies.

He may also have a slight affection for her. Just a smidgen. Itty bitty, really.


Urgh, the more I look at this, the more I hate Mathew's pose. The Dandy may need to be redrawn before I color.

I'm happy to see these two again. The detail in Eliyra's dress was the first thing my eyes latched onto, then Mathew's legs. Something about men in stockings...anyway...yeah

*clear throat*

I want to point out something I don't know if you have noticed that I found really funny. From a first glance it looked like Mathew is giving the British 'up yours' gesture with the two fingers of this left hand but in kinda of a laid back way which would go perfect with his expression.

never heard of the show, but as always i love your work!

a note on his pose, i think the only major thing that needs doing is to change his left hand. the fingers look a little stiff...
