Protected by Time

A follow up to The Doctor and the God of Time.

So. My original thought when doodling the line art out was the idea that by the time the Doctor slingshots through the Vortex into the Void (without the Tardis, which should have killed him outright, but instead created a partial regeneration that absorbed the energies of both forces of the universes) and emerges in Pete's World as the God of Time, rogue factions in the British government and Torchwood have been trying to find out the secrets of the Bad Wolf phenomenon. Rose, confused because the name keeps popping up despite it being a different universe, gets kidnapped on a mission dealing with- you guessed it- the Daleks. Turns out the rogue factions were being manipulated by the Daleks, and since they can't get the Doctor, they're trying to get to the secrets of the Tardis and the vortex through Rose's connection.
The Doctor, well, Chronos, comes to save the day (In fact, when he appears, it's at the same time London gets lashed by the worst storm in fifty years- thus fulfilling the prophecy of the Oncoming Storm, natch), but not before the Daleks try a last ditch attempt to reopen Rose's connection with a bolt of Huon energy. Who knows what that might mean?


Ok, really? Just an excuse to practice at making pretty pictures and try and use ~swankkat's coloring styles.

I ended up erasing half my line work and redoing on the computer, and I'm still not completely happy with it. Meh. Maybe I should stick to pornesque scenes instead.
