So, as I've mentioned before, when it comes to art, I'm a jack of all trades (and a master of none) when it comes to medium.

At the moment I've been picking up ceramics again (I haven't regularly been in a ceramics studio since nearly cutting off my finger 4 years ago...)

These two are a set, both with solar glaze on the outside and oribe glaze (and a mix on the vines). Both are cone 10 high fire, done in a reduction fire.

these are so pretty! I love the colors and the vineyness.

me too...I actually tried to take a pottery class back at my old school, but the classes were always insta-full and when I finally got into it...I remember there being something supremely lame about it. And that the glazes available were all in dull earth-tones, which made me sad.

Oh, I really love this. The glaze on the vine and the handle of the mug are my favorite bits.
