Because I've never bothered to give him a proper turnaround reference sheet for James Cooper, my demigod bartender and wanderer. This is the outfit he tends to wear when he's out in a world (as in, when he's involved in a crossover in some way).
The gun is useless for physical defense- based on the Akiba's gun from the series 'Mail', it's a way to entrap and banish malevolent spirits. James, while resistant to magic, cannot perform any on his own. His only 'talents' from his heritage is increased strength, invulnerability and affinity for language (He can speak and understand almost anyone's native tongue- pretty standard for gods, who need to speak to any mortal. He can't always control it, and he can't speak another language at will. If he suffers significant head trauma (rare, but possible), he can get 'stuck' speaking in tongues. He can be very persuasive, as his voice has the timber of the 'Voice of Gods' if he's not careful, unless a person is resistant/immune.)
The sword is a blade made from a dragon's tooth, incredibly sharp and changes to suit his needs. It's kept bundled as a small dagger on his back.
The necklace is a tap for his wife, the witch, to keep them connected.
The earring is actually a seal for him, to keep the aether nature at bay. He is, after all, the son of the elder god who embodies the end of the world.
James doesn't like thinking about his dad or possible destiny he might have. He grew up believing his dad was a Romanian immigrant from Northern England who died of cancer when he was a toddler. He doesn't want to go on adventures, he'd much rather tend bar, teach music, and be with family and friends. He's creeped out by all the supernatural elements he now sees even in the mundane world.
