Dick and Babs: a Valentine

My first OTP, the original Robin, nee Nightwing and the original Batgirl, nee Oracle: Dick Grayson and Barbara Gordon. I don't think even DC realizes how many people quietly (and not so quietly) root for this couple. Of course, I'm REALLY worried about where the current DC events are going to leave them- However, when I read the last page of Nightwing #117 on the bus home, I squealed. Ever since Batgirl was first introduced people have been waiting for that moment. And I swear, if DC screws this up, I will personally find the man responsable and threaten bodily harm. Actually, scratch the 'threaten' part, and go straight to WILL do bodily harm....

Er. Ahem. Yes. I love these two. After all, as a fellow redhead nerdette, I like the idea of her getting the cutest butt in latex. And Damnit, Dick has a fiiiine ass.

And if you haven't guessed, these two inspired a lot of Jess and James' relationship.

Wow. Usually I refuse to be this Sappy on VD Day. *shrug*
