After a total of 20 hours, my entry for the 2006 Hogwatch competition at .

The residents of Ankh-Morpork (With some special visitors!) take in a rare event in their city, snow on Hogwatch eve. Even the most grumpy Watchman, Patrician or athropormorphic personification to come out with- ok, maybe not a smile, but no frowns, that's for sure.

Death's out playing Hogfather, though Susan's not sure why, and Lobsang finds it good to know anthropormorphic personafications can still have a good time.

Sam Vimes is going to be surprised when Sam Junior wants a picture with Hogfather later. (Sam Junior is too busing at moment looking at the snow and a stray Tiffany Aching, who happens to be running an errand for Granny Weatherwax).

Vetinari hadn't planned to take a walk that night, but the carriage had gotten stuck in the traffic. Taking a page from Vimes's book, he and Drumknott decide to take the short walk back to the Palace (and Vetinari knows that the Watch are out in force today). Doesn't mean they've stopped working though- Drumknott's primed and ready to take notes.

Carrot's about to learn why girls are very dangerous, particularly together. Angua and Sally have decided to show Carrot how to play in the snow, Uberwald style.

And away from the crowd, Moist von Lipwig, on the one day when people aren't interested in the Post Office, is out of uniform and trying to get Spike Dearheart to come out to dinner with him.

And of course, Death of Rats oversees the whole thing, translating the message into Squeak.

I should probably work another 10 hours on it at least, but I 've reached my sanity's end. *SIGH* Good luck to everyone in the contest, and have happy holidays this winter- Christmas, Hannakuh, Saturnalia, Kwanaza, New Years, or what ever you like.

*Cuddles* I was going to add a Tardis in the sky, but the Doctor's going have to have his own.

Please comment, as I have no life outside of fandom.

All characters (c) Pterry. (Wonder what he would think of this?)

Wallpaper is available for widescreen comps- send me a note if you'd like it.

EDIT: Added a bit of color to the cheeks for a more authentic feel- and something else to some one's cheek. Can you find it? (Cookie if you do)

Holy freaking genius!!! I wish I was as patient as you :)
:iconjesidres:
Well, I'm not really that patient- this has been worked on for the past 6 days, with about three hours days. A lot easier to be patient then. Plus anything less would have sucked.
:iconozodrac:
Wow. Really good - so much detail in the shading ect. A sure fire winner!
