Artist's Comments
My first finished piece since I finished the first half of my thesis- thank gods. Carrot and Angua again, though this time there are actually clothes involved.
I've changed how I drew Carrot a bit; not sure if I like it yet. Although his hair is much nicer than it has been in the past. I fiddled with the armor- now that I look at it, it looks almost like a weird combination of Paul Kidby and Josh Kirby's visions. Angua's armor is just a wee bit more sensible than the guys give her- despite what Terry Pratchett may say, Women bits do not get in the way of archery equipment. I should know- I teach archery part time. (Sorry, just had to get it off my br-I mean, chest.) I really feel Carrot and Angua have been getting the short end of the truncheon lately in the Discworld fandom. Am I the only one who wants to see puppies?! At least make her an honest woman, Carrot! I have no idea what's on the note, Carrot's reading. Maybe it's asking him to participate in the Watch nude calendar? X_X |

This is a relly nice peice. I wish I could get behind them getting hitched- it just she seems that she is dead set against it... the whole human werewolf crosses causing problems thing.
There has to be away around it though. Right? I mean there seems to be away around everytrhing in diskworld!
You draw Carrot quite handsome...and you have his trademark "carror" sahpe down. *broud shoulders, narrow waist, just like described in the books. n_n * The chain mail detail is very nice. And...that expression on his face can only mean the letter is one thing....

And yep, the Amazon myth was though up by male historians and storytellers. You can shoot with boobs! And don't think we're bad at it either- when I used to teach, I had these tall jocks trying to pull their 25 pound draw bows, I brought in my antique 45 pounder. And I'm a little 5'6" girl! hehehehehe.
